Some of the recent brilliant inventions in the World.
First of all I want to mention the Crabster CR200 which is one of the most tremendous invention by Korean Institute of Ocean Science and Technology (KIOST). It is named from the sea animals crabs and lobsters as it has a same functions.
Robotic underwater vehicle play an important role in marine research, environment operations, exploration and search rescue missions. Most ROVs and AUVs rely on propellers, which allow them to maneuver swiftly and dive to great depths. But there are certain places these machines can't easily access because of strong currents. So in order to overcome these hurdles researchers at the KIOST
sought inspiration not from fish but from legged sea creatures like crabs and lobsters. The result was Crabster..It is a huge six-legged underwater robot. It weight is 600 kg (1322 lb) but it can be move easily from on place to another easily because its remote control station is designed to be easily transported in a pair of shipping containers. In total the the robot is 2.42m long, 2.45m wide and 2m high.
